Aging Well Retreat


Join us for conversation and connection around the transitions inherent as we age. For those in the 60+ community, this one is for you!

April’s retreat will focus on flourishing as we age - for our whole bodies! Specifically exploring physical, mental, and emotional health, while immersed in the invitation to spiritual health. We will also address preparing for the effects of aging - for ourselves and as we care for loved ones. See below for details!

Cost: Click our Registration link for the full scope of registration options. Basic options are as follows:

$570 - Couple on-site housing with private bath
$320 - Single on-site housing with semi-private bath
$370 - Couple (commuting)
$185 - Single (commuting)

Physical Health:


Meri Clark

Meri Clark is passionate about real estate and establishing new and lasting relationships. When she is not selling real estate, she loves to run half and full marathons all over the country, also a lifelong passion. Volunteering in her community helps her connect & see the needs of others. Meri is in the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah in which the core value is community. She also spends time once a week with Union Gospel Mission in Seattle volunteering for Search and Rescue delivering much needed meals and supplies for the people living on the streets. Choosing to live in a diverse neighborhood, serving on her neighborhood committee, starting her neighborhood watch program allows her to give back to community through service. Contribution through community!

Mental Health:


John Gill

Dr. John Gill earned as BS Zoology from Washington State University and completed medical school at the University of Washington.  His internship and residency were filled at the University of Connecticut from 1972-1976.  Dr. Gill’s board certifications include internal medicine, ACLS certified instructor, and geriatric medicine.  Previously he worked at the University of Kentucky Emergency Medicine Residency and Wenatchee Valley Clinic. Presently Dr. Gill serves part-time as the Confluence Health Hospice Medical Director. His interests include skiing, kayaking, hiking, biking, welding, reading, and building.  He has been married 40 years to his wife, Dianna.  John and Dianna have three children and seven grandchildren.  

Tom Adams

Emotional Health:
Tom Adams

Rev. Tom Adams, M.Div, M.A., is currently in private practice, Helping Relationships Thrive, and is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist (helpingrelationshipsthrive.com).  Tom is also an adjunct faculty at W.S.U. Elson Floyd School of Medicine where he precepts 3rd year medical student as part of their clinical rotation.  He also provides consultation to pastors, church leaders, and other therapists. 

In the capacity of minister (PCUSA), currently assists at New Hope Missionary Baptist, an African American congregation in East Pasco, serves on the board of Campell Farms, and was the director of chaplain services at the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy for 10 years. Tom has degrees from Whitworth University, Regent College Canada, Fuller Theological Seminary and Phillips Graduate University.  Tom is married to Karen, a US History high school teacher at a local STEM school, Delta.  They have two grown sons and three grandkids.
