From HWY 97 turn west onto Ingalls Creek Road at Milepost #178 across from the 97 Rock House Café. Cross the bridge, stay left to stay on Ingalls Creek Road. The entrance is about one mile ahead on your left. Look for the long gate. The drive twists down and around and you will see the parking lot on the left and the Lodge on the right.

Getting Here

Linens: Guests in dorms must bring bedding (pillows, sheets/sleeping bags) and towels. Linens are provided in the Lupine Suite and Alpine Apartment.

Weather: Check the forecast ahead of your visit by using Peshastin as your location. Mornings and evenings keep quite a bit cooler than mid-day.

Planning For Your Visit:

Lodge Kitchen & Gathering Spaces:

WiFi is available and cell service is limited. If you do not want all your group members to have the password, tell Guest Services before your arrival so we can hide the password.

Kitchen:

  • A general kitchen inventory is available below.

  • ICEC provides: Bunn coffee filters, salt and pepper in shakers, foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels for drying hands only, aprons, kitchen towels and rags.

  • Guest Group should bring - in addition to your food - paper towels for the kitchen, napkins, food workers’ gloves, leftover containers or baggies, tablecloths if desired.

  • A coffee/tea station is located in the foyer of the Lodge. A refrigerator is in the foyer for snacks or individuals’ own food, separate from the group’s food in the commercial refrigerator.

Dining/meeting room: The Lodge has a large dining / meeting room with round and rectangular tables and chairs to set up as you like.

Video projector and sound system with 16-channel mixer in the dining / meeting room: Bring a computer to run the projector and any cables and adapters you may need. Two microphones are provided. There is a piano.

Outdoor Opportunities Included with Your Stay:

Amphitheater seats 120 guests. Stage has electrical power outlets. WiFi extension is available for additional fee. are available for your use.

Pavilion seats approximately 120 guests. Several electrical power outlets. Food service area and hot water. BBQ grills, propane patio heaters, or WiFi extension are available for additional fee.

Recreational Opportunities: Grassy fields, family friendly zip-line, three-story treehouse, Creekside and Woodland hiking paths, gaga ball pit, and volleyball court are available for your use. Winter sledding is welcome at a designated sledding hill, with your own sleds. The Ingalls Creek Trailhead is ¼ mile away for long or short hikes.

Prayer Trail: Near the Lodge and Amphitheater is a short prayer trail with nine stations. You may borrow our printed guide or develop your own according to the theme of your retreat.

Campfires: Campfires are allowed in the Amphitheater fire pit, only with permission of ICEC staff, and only during times authorized by the local fire district. One member of your group must be the designated fire marshal and will be oriented by ICEC staff for use of the fire pit. Ask if you are interested.

Ingalls Creek Enrichment Center Safety and Use Regulations

  • Children must be supervised by an authorized adult at all times.

  • The creek is not a designated swimming area.

  • Vaping or smoking of tobacco only are allowed in the Amphitheater fire pit area only. No marijuana is allowed in any form.

  • Do not approach or feed wildlife. If dangerous wildlife is sighted (e.g. wasp nests,snakes, or other), please immediately report the location to your camp host.

  • The Amphitheater fire pit is the only authorized place for campfires and only by prior permission. Propane fires may be allowed in the Creekside Patio area with prior permission.

  • Quiet hours are 10PM to 7AM.

  • Restrooms are in the Lodge and across from the Pavilion.

  • Please do not pick flowers or cut branches from trees.

  • No pets are allowed inside any of the buildings nor near food service areas. Service animals are allowed on the grounds but not near food service areas. Animal’s owner is responsible and liable for actions of the animal, including an injury or damage.

  • Minors using the zip-line must be supervised by a responsible adult and must wear helmets.

  • Follow kitchen procedures posted in kitchen.

  • Return recreation equipment to the Sport Hut.

  • If you moved any furniture or equipment, return it to its proper place. Linens, mattresses, furniture, etc. that is indoors should remain indoors.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Fire and Evacuation Procedures

• If a fire alarm sounds, everyone must immediately evacuate the building
• Assemble in the Pavilion, unless a leader gives other instructions
• Take a head count and make sure everyone in your group is accounted for.
• Contact your group’s Ingalls Creek guest host. He or she will give further directions.
• Fire extinguisher locations: Lodge kitchen, Lodge dining room, couch nook second floor of Lodge, breezeway behind Lodge, Amphitheater wood rack, Pavilion
• In the case of an emergency: dial 911.

Missing Campers

• If one of your campers is missing, verify their absence and conduct an initial search.
• Notify your Ingalls Creek guest host to assist in the search efforts.

Accidents or Injuries

• Remove others from the scene as much as possible. Make sure the scene is safe before giving care.
• Evaluate the extent of the injury. If in doubt, do not move the injured person.
• In the case of an emergency, dial 911.
• Use your group’s first aid kit and administer necessary aid. A basic First Aid kit is located in the Lodge kitchen, above the hand washing sink. Groups are responsible for addressing minor injuries and medical concerns.
• An AED device is located on the right-hand side of the main doors exiting the Lodge.
• If the injured person is a minor, call the legal guardian as soon as possible. If it is not an emergency, consult the legal guardians before deciding to take the injured person to a doctor or hospital. Be prepared with insurance information for the doctor or hospital.
• Notify your group’s Ingalls Creek guest host as soon as initial care is given.
• Fill out an Accident / Incident Report with information from all witnesses. Copies are in the white binder on the piano in the Lodge. Give the completed report to your guest host.
