Coaching Series and In-Person Restorative Retreat

Ingalls Creek is offering two continuing education opportunities for pastors to find revitalization in their life and ministry. Each opportunity can be experienced independently of one another, or if you do both you can bundle and save! Take a look below for more information on each.

COACHING SERIES

For your encouragement and growth, Ingalls Creek, in partnership with the Academy of Artful Leadership, invites you to join us online for a series of six intimate cohort sessions alongside other pastors exploring the realities of ministry today. This option also includes four one-on-one sessions with Roy Howard (see below) for personal coaching in your particular context. Coaching sessions will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

Sessions are scheduled for 9:00-10:30 am on Wednesdays as follows.

  • February 15: Purpose, Identity & Vision
  • March 1: Prayer & Presiding
  • March 15: Courage & Risk
  • March 29: Building Resilience
  • April 12: Navigating Conflict
  • April 26: Developing a Rule of Life

This series has been offered by Roy in a variety of ministerial contexts, shown to bring revitalization, imagination, and energy to the calls of ministers in the field. Consider these recommendations from those who have experienced the program and personal coaching.

“I have never finished a coaching session without a new perspective and new energy. I would enthusiastically recommend him as a coach to anyone who wants to be a more grounded and effective leader.” Any Nagel, Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Mission, Central Presbyterian Church, Towson, MD.

“I’ve been participating in Roy’s current coaching cohort, and it’s been hugely helpful to me as I develop sustainable patterns for ministry. In fact, I’d say it was the single best use of my continuing education funds last year. Roy is a good listener and asks the right questions. In individual coaching, he has a particular ear for over-functioning and clarity regarding roles in ministry. Group coaching has been a great way to meet new colleagues, gain insights into new ideas, and process sticking points in my own ministry. I can’t recommend coaching with Roy enough!” Linda Kurtz, Associate Pastor, First Presbyterian Chruch, Lexington,

Cost: $750 per person

Space is limited to encourage a more intimate setting. Scholarships may be available. Please inquire with Becca at becca@ingallscreek.org.
